If you would like to participate please first complete the demographic survey from the <Enter Profile> button, then do the LSI survey from the <Do Survey> button.  Your results will then be displayed on the chart.

So that we can analyze the results you are required to enter a name, but this can be a nomdeplume.  Please choose one of the groups Practitioner, Academic or Student.

The applet requires JRE 1.5, or later.  This can be installed from http:// www.java.com if required.

Instructions:

• The <Enter Profile> button presents a short demographic survey to capture some information about your qualifications and work experience. Use the <Submit Demographic Survey> button at the bottom of that window to complete this section. Please attempt all questions, but not that only NAME is mandatory

• The <Do Survey> button starts the LSI survey. Each question has four answers, these must be ranked 4 down to 1 to indicate how well the answer matches you. Use 4 for the best match, 3 for the next best, 2 for the next and 1 for the least like you match.

• You must complete each question before moving on to the next one.

• You can go back and review/change answers if desired.

• Use the <Done> button to close down the question presenter.

• If you have answered all the questions, your assessment will be shown with a red dot.

• If you wish (and you are encouraged to) save your data, choose the appropriate <Group> name (Student, Practitioner or Academic), then use the <Save Results> button to record your results along with everyone else's.

• If you then refresh the browser, your data point (as a small cross now) will be displayed.

• Use the <Group> combo to display the data for that group, choose "All Persons" to display results for all groups.
